Una is originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and came to the United States as a refugee in 1994. She has lived across Central and North Florida, but Orlando has always been home. She received her Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida.

At Housing Connector, Una will lead the Orlando team as they work to expand access to housing by reducing barriers for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. She is passionate about building partnerships that create long-term solutions and looks forward to bringing her experience in refugee resettlement and community integration to strengthen Housing Connector’s mission.

Outside of work, Una loves traveling and spending time with her family. She is passionate about storytelling and often draws on her personal journey to advocate for stronger, more inclusive communities.
