Katie studied Public Health at Tulane University in New Orleans, where she cultivated a deep interest in the connections between health, community, and access to resources. Katie leads with curiosity and brings a rich, interdisciplinary background to her work. Her career has included roles in food sovereignty, domestic violence advocacy, and regenerative agriculture. Over the past five years, Katie has focused her career on housing as a vital social determinant of health. She discovered Housing Connector while managing a housing program at one of our community partner organizations.

Katie now supports the Denver team at Housing Connector, cultivating new property partnerships and expanding secure, accessible housing opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness by reducing systemic barriers.

Outside of her housing work, Katie owns and operates Someday Flower Farm, a small specialty cut flower farm, where she delights in sharing the simple joys of flowers with her community. Passionate about sustainability and creativity, Katie loves growing her own food and thrifting. You can also find her biking around town, cooking or catching live music with friends.
