Allie grew up in St. Louis and has called Austin home since 2012. After earning her degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, she began her career as a domestic violence hotline advocate. Hearing from survivors whose safety was often limited by a lack of shelter and stable housing shaped her commitment to expanding housing access and led her to work in Austin's homelessness response system.

At Housing Connector, Allie serves as a Partner and Resident Support Associate, where she works with property partners, case managers, and residents to resolve issues that impact housing stability. Drawing on experience in both direct service and leadership, she approaches her work with curiosity, persistence, and a collaborative mindset. She enjoys asking why things are done a certain way, bringing people together to solve problems, and finding opportunities for humor along the way.

Allie believes housing is fundamental to a person's dignity, safety, and sense of belonging. As a pragmatic idealist, she is inspired by the possibility of systems that create more opportunities and fewer barriers, regardless of a person's past or circumstances. She was drawn to Housing Connector's collaborative approach, recognizing the important role property partners play in creating lasting housing solutions.

Outside of Housing Connector, Allie also works part-time at a homelessness hotline. In her free time, she enjoys stand-up comedy, curating playlists, and playing sports.
