Alesandra grew up in Alpine, a small town in West Texas, where she first learned the value of service by helping her mom deliver meals with Meals on Wheels. That early experience shaped her belief in the power of community and set her on a path of service. After moving to Austin and graduating from Texas State University–San Marcos with a degree in Psychology, she began a career dedicated to expanding housing access and supporting individuals facing barriers.

For more than 10 years, Alesandra worked within the Austin Travis County Homeless Response system, where she helped launch the city’s Coordinated Entry System. Today, she brings that same passion and experience to Housing Connector, building strong partnerships and connecting people with resources that create lasting change.

Outside of work, Alesandra loves to cook, explore hiking trails, play board games with friends, listen to comedy podcasts, and hunt for the best brunch spots in Austin.
