Born and raised in the Seattle area, Lauren is a proud University of Washington Husky.

Prior to joining the Housing Connector team, Lauren spent sixteen years working as a housing attorney, both as a tenant advocate and housing provider attorney. Having seen the negative effects of litigation, Lauren is passionate about using mediation and other conflict resolution tools to provide support for housing providers and enhance housing stability for residents at risk of eviction. Lauren currently serves as Treasurer on the Washington State Bar Association-Dispute Resolution Executive Committee and has presented for King County Bar Association and American Bar Association on her work with pre-filing voluntary mediation programs.

Lauren enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, hopefully skiing, hiking, back-packing, or cycling.
