Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Micaela has called Austin home since 2019. She began her career advocating alongside survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and since relocating to Austin, her work has centered on the mission of ending homelessness in the community. Over the years, she has served in a variety of roles, including case management and program management, and has contributed to systems-level initiatives focused on expanding access to resources, improving program performance, and monitoring outcomes to better serve individuals experiencing homelessness.

At Housing Connector, Micaela fosters community partnerships to expand housing access and promote stability for her neighbors in Austin. She brings curiosity, tenacity, and a deep commitment to treating everyone with dignity to her work and relationships.

Outside of work, Micaela enjoys coffee, climbing, plants, thrifting, and spending time with her two cats. She also loves decorating her home with vintage pieces from the 1960s and ’70s.
